Conservative writer and conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi is in plea negotiations with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III, according to Corsi and another person with knowledge of the talks.
The talks with Corsi — an associate of both President Trump and GOP operative Roger Stone — could bring Mueller’s team closer to determining whether Trump or his advisers were linked to WikiLeaks’ release of hacked Democratic emails in 2016, a key part of his long-running inquiry.

They’re coming to get you, Roger! Corsi is singin’ like a bird! And Stone, once caught, will do the same. These guys are all posture and talk.

I concur, Stone will probably sing too. If I was Trump, I’d be peeing in my shorts right now!

EVERY single one of his idjit co-conspirators are singing to Mueller. I’m betting Whitaker’s mandate is to do all he can to keep Mueller away from Trump, but he’s under a friggin’ microscope, and he is NOT a bright bulb, so I don’t really know what he can do.

Whitaker might go too far, we’ll see. But, if he does, he’ll leave himself wide open to obstruction of justice charges, a ruined legal career, and possible jail time. Even a dimwit would realize that.

One would think, but Trump sure has a way of attracting self-sacrificing idiots to fall on the sword for him. It’s beyond me to see why, though because the Trump sail is drifting toward one place only: the abyss.

There’s a huge difference between wanting to fall on one’s sword and actually doing it. Cold, hard reality changes everything. Remember when Michael Cohen pledged his defense of Trump? Remember when no one expected Paul Manafort to flip? Both did, along with all the others.
I remember my U.S. Army service which shattered the delusion I had beforehand that brave people don’t fold under intense pressure. Hollywood portrays heroes as infallible figures who can withstand serious hardship and even torture. It’s all fake. When their lives are at risk, people will always save themselves.

Be interesting to see what Kavanaugh does if some stuff comes all the way to the Supreme Court. He’s there for a reason

Obviously, but Trump is in so deep that it might not matter.
