A federal judge ruled an abortion law signed by Vice President Mike Pence while he was governor of Indiana is unconstitutional.

The law, signed by Pence in March 2016, banned abortions sought because a fetus could potentially be diagnosed with a disability, among other provisions.

Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Judge William J. Bauer affirmed a district court ruling striking down the law on Thursday.

  1. The Christian Right’s stance on abortion twists me into knots.
    ~ How is it that such good God-fearing people like Mike Pence can defend the rights of the fetus, but have no problem in making life untenable for vulnerable children once they come into this world?
    ~ How is it that such good God-fearing people could support the proliferation of guns that are killing our children and youth in their classrooms?
    ~ How is it that such good God-fearing people could support police violence and the mass incarceration of our black and brown youth?
    ~ How is it that such good God-fearing people could support closing our borders and our hearts to refuges fleeing violence in the home countries?
    ~ How is it that such good God-fearing people could support our endless wars in faraway countries where our bombs are killing women (some pregnant), babies, and young children?

    I could go on and on.
