On 17 July, the department of justice served a website-hosting company, DreamHost, with a search warrant for every piece of information it possessed that was related to a website that was used to coordinate protests during Donald Trump’s inauguration. The warrant covers the people who own and operate the site, but also seeks to get the IP addresses of 1.3 million people who visited it, as well as the date and time of their visit and information about what browser or operating system they used.

    Is this not a slide downwards towards repression. Anyone who opposes the president opposes the state?
    By the way, thanks to John Kerry and others, we are sliding down that same route quite fast.

Apparently, having a president like donald trump not only empowers White Nationalists, it empowers the rulers who wish to manipulate him into helping them create a virtual police state with unchecked powers to reduce the U.S. Constitution to nothing more than a piece of paper with fancy writing. I can honestly say that I never thought I’d see things get this out of control in this country. I was foolish enough to think that there were more moral people in the U.S. than pathetic cowards so easily manipulated by fear and hate.
