From Reuters via MSN:

President Donald Trump signed an order on Monday that will seek to dramatically reduce federal regulations, but the policy will not apply to most of the financial reform rules introduced by the Obama administration.

Trump’s latest executive action will require that agencies cut two existing regulations for every new rule introduced and it will set an annual cap on the cost of new regulations.

For the rest of fiscal 2017, the cap will require that the cost of any additional regulations be completely offset by undoing existing rules.

  1. How long does it take to undergo a judicial review and struck down executive orders that are unconstitutional? How long does it take to impeach a President? What is Congress doing/? How long does the U.S., and the world, have to put up with the annihilation of democratic values?

      • The best news I’ve heard is that WA, OR and CA want to secede and join Canada. CaliCadia. Is that why you moved to Oregon? Please let me know the cut-off dates for western state residency, so I may join Canada, too.

      • I actually live in Washington state, and moved here mostly for family reasons. CaliCadia sounds great! Permanent residents (who are eligible for all benefits and services) are those who have lived in WA for a minimum of 5 years.

      • I’m an Oregonian and I’m all for it! However, the problem we would most likely have is So. Oregon leans conservative. It is primarily around the Portland area that people have good sense. We’d probably have to split the state in two, and unfortunately, I live in the southern part. 😦
