“We’re watching the dark cloud of Mordor extend over federal service.”

  1. Dear Mr. Vela:

I don’t want to violate your rules, but neither can I idly witness the impending damage to our democracy and, indeed, planet, by this immoral fool. Yesterday OpEdNews published my new article, “ADA and Democracy in Danger.” They have a 48-hour exclusive on it.

I hope you’ll consider the best remedy I’ve found to our current trajectory.

  2. In a business, you may keep things under wraps, keep your plans from leaking out everywhere. That’s fine, it’s privately owned, do what you want.

A democratic government is not a business. While citizens don’t expect to know every detail, they have a right to know when something significant is occurring. All Americans have a stake in their country.

A media “blackout” sounds ominous. He doesn’t want to give the opposition time to react effectively, particularly our Progressive and Democrat leaders.

Trump is authoritarian, all right. And what happens to democracy? You can’t have a democracy if The People don’t know what’s going on, and aren’t allowed to have a voice and exert their power.
