Yahoo on Thursday confirmed that at least 500 million user accounts had their information compromised in a massive hack that it believes was perpetrated by a state-sponsored actor. The scale of the breach makes it among the largest on record.

  1. An interesting side note to this. I got a message from yahoo. It was official I checked it out. It was not a scam and in no way asked me for any of my information. However it did have my first name, and my main email address. It said my account could have been one of those that had information stolen. It recommended I change passwords and all that stuff. Here is the thing. I don’t recall ever having a Yahoo account. I never made a yahoo email that I can remember. Weird? Hugs
