  1. I have to say I can prove by my own life wages have stayed stagnate. In the 1990’s I made the same wage I did in 2014. Different jobs, but both were “professions” needing state licences. However I have to say after years of no raise in wages Ron got a good one this year. Long time coming , but it is a start. Hugs

      • I was able in 1988 to buy a brand new 14 x 70 mobile home with all the extras, a brand new dodge four by four and with my wages I could buy Ron a new car when he moved in with me, and provide well for us all. Just me on one income, I even bankrolled a startup successful business. However forward to 2014 I was still making the same wage but the fact was it did not go anywhere as far. We struggled with bills, gas was so much more, cars costs were more than I bought my first home for, and milk was so expensive I wondered if the cows had turned to rare things. We had to buy a breadmaker to afford to keep good bread in the house. So the fact is prices went up, but my wages did not, so I took a cut in pay every year. Hard to survive that way. Many hugs
