A bumbling Tulsa County Sheriff’s Officer volunteer who killed an unarmed suspect after mistaking a gun for a Taser has been found guilty of second-degree manslaughter.

Robert Bates, who was signed up as an Oklahoma sheriff’s deputy volunteer on bogus training paperwork, shot and killed Eric Harris in April 2015, when he mistakenly grabbed his pistol instead of his stun gun.
