Sometimes life exhibits such sweet irony that it makes one wonder if it all hasn’t been written down long ago in some fanciful romantic fiction.  But, it couldn’t possibly be… no one could’ve made up this incredibly sublime story.

Days after the Mormon Church rewrote its rules in a mean-spirited attack on same-sex marriages and their children, a move that prompted a publicly-conducted mass resignation of its members, the very city in which the church is headquartered has now elected its first openly-gay mayor!

Oh, the humanity!  Oh, the poetic justice!

I just can’t stop laughing!  This is way too funny!  😀
