The Ohio Supreme Court today announced it would let stand two lower court rulings demanding that White Hat Management, one of Ohio’s largest charter-school management companies, open its financial books.
In 2010, 10 boards of schools operated by White Hat sued to get details about how the state funding they turned over to the company had been spent. White Hat refused, arguing that as a private company it was not required to disclose the information.
